One Month to Go: Checklist

If using a non-Hope Pastor for the ceremony, please send Hope the following: 

  1. Location and date where he was licensed or ordained.
  2. Where he went to school.

Two Weeks to Go: Checklist

To make sure everything goes smoothly at the rehearsal, have you:

  1. Contacted all support personnel (emcee, florists, photographer, caterers, decorators, and Hope’s wedding coordinator)?
  2. Reminded your wedding party of the time of the dress rehearsal?
  3. Secured all paper products to be used at the reception?
  4. Secured a set-up crew for decorating the building?
  5. Secured a clean-up crew for the building after the wedding?
  6. Assembled materials needed for decorating?
  7. Decided on any furniture arrangement/re-arrangement and discussed this with the Hope Church wedding coordinator?
  8. Communicated to the officiating pastor and/or wedding coordinator that they will be responsible to conduct the rehearsal?
  9. Finalized paperwork and have your wedding license?
  10. Invited the officiating pastor to the rehearsal dinner?
  11. Turned in a final, detailed outline of the wedding ceremony including music, lights, A/V cues to Brian Cropp for the A/V technician?
  12. Submitted to Brian Cropp any DVD’s and/or CD’s with music for the dress rehearsal, pre-ceremony, wedding, and/or reception?
  13. Met with Brian Cropp to go over any last details for the wedding?
  14. Turned in a detailed outline of the wedding reception schedule (order of events for music cues, etc.) to Hope’s wedding coordinator?
  15. Secured an emcee for the wedding reception?
  16. Sent the emcee a detailed schedule of times of events (cake cutting, throwing the bouquet, etc.) along with the names of everyone in the wedding party?
  17. Met with Hope’s wedding coordinator and discussed a detailed schedule of times of events for the rehearsal, wedding, and/or wedding reception? Please contact the wedding coordinator to set up this meeting.

One Week before the Wedding

The final payments are due.

Day of the Wedding: Checklist

  1. Do you have the groom and bride’s wedding rings?
  2. Has the officiating pastor signed the wedding license and mailed in your paperwork?  

Clean-Up: Checklist

Town Hall

  • Chairs put back in order for Sunday church services (see map below).
  • Decorations on stage taken down and put away.
  • Flower petals and other items swept off of the floor.
  • Leftover wedding programs are recycled in the work room (Room 5).
  • Wedding license signed and given to pastor or parent to mail in.


Main Street 

  • Tables and chairs put away.
  • Place Hope’s tablecloths on top of the washing machine in the work room (Room 5).
  • Place Hope decorations back in their proper places in the Green Room.
  • Personal decorations removed from the building.
  • Wedding gifts removed from the building.
  • Hope’s furniture (benches, bistro tables, etc.) put in original locations.
  • Trash taken out to dumpsters.
  • Flower vases rinsed, dried, and put away in Green Room.


Kitchen

  • Dishes washed, dried, and put away.
  • Trash taken out to dumpsters.
  • Food packaged and taken home.
  • Tables returned to original locations.


Connections Plaza

  • Tables and chairs put away.
  • Place Hope’s tablecloths on top of washing machine in the work room (Room 5).
  • Hope decorations put back in their proper places in the Green Room.


Bridal Changing Room

  • Personal belongings removed.
  • Window covering removed.
  • Furniture returned to original location.


Groom’s Changing Room

  • Personal belongings removed.
  • Window covering removed.
  • Furniture returned to original location.




One Day after the Wedding: Checklist

Your wedding coordinator will email the number of tablecloths used at your wedding to care@hopechurch.com. Hope will prepare an invoice* for the number of tablecloths used and email it to you.


*Payments for tablecloth usage are due 10 days after your wedding.
