This November the Elementary boys & girls are learning about thankfulness!
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says "Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus."
Key teaching points of this WEEKS lesson:
November 2nd:
Thankfulness comes from having a relationship with Jesus and understanding God’s love for us. We should choose thankfulness even in difficult situations because we already have victory through Jesus Christ.
Objective:
To understand that true thankfulness comes from knowing Jesus Christ as our Savior.

Colossians 2:6-7, Psalm 136:1, and 1 Corinthians 15:57, 2 Corinthians 11:24-28, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
November 9th:
If we are truly thankful to God for our relationship to Christ, then we will also show thankfulness to fellow believers who obediently strive to fulfill God’s will.
Objective:
To learn that true thankfulness to God leads to showing thankfulness to others.
