Answers Bible Curriculum Unit 13

Discover What Your Child is Learning

Answers Bible Curriculum was developed to present the gospel, beginning in Genesis, to all generations; to train believers to know, obey, and defend God’s Word; and to encourage believers to become conformed to the image of Christ.

Unit Goal:

Kids learn the New Testament is true & reliable as well as more about the beginning of Jesus' life on earth.

Memory Verses:

Isaiah 7:14 TLB right then, the Lord himself will choose the sign - a child shall be born to a virgin! And she shall call him Immanuel (meaning "God with us").

John 1:14 ESV And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Key teaching points of this WEEKS lesson:

November 2nd:

The Messiah Has Come - God is faithful to keep his promises.

The Old Testament taught that the Messiah was coming, and the New Testament proclaims that he has come. Without the Old Testament, we cannot understand and appreciate the fullness of God’s plan for redemption. God promised a Savior to Adam and Eve, and after 4,000 years, God revealed that Savior in the person of Jesus.

November 9th:

We Can Trust the New Testament - The Holy Spirit guided the apostles to record God’s words

The apostles were eyewitnesses of the things Jesus did. Jesus promised the apostles that he would send the Holy Spirit, the Helper, to bring to their remembrance all that he said and did. The things they wrote were inspired by God through the Holy Spirit. What they wrote in the Bible is true.
